Southern Ohio Music & Arts Hootenanny

The Southern Ohio Music & Arts Hootenanny Extravaganza is scheduled for July 21st and 22nd near Portsmouth. Entertainment will be provided by a wide variety of musical styling and regional artists. The venue, Shady Pines, features camping, swimming, and two stages.
The local fire department will be on hand to vend food and help with the event. $10 admits you for camping and entertainment all week. $1 per car for parking, $2 per day if you want to swim.

Chances are that there will be other performers as well, bring a guitar or some bongo drums if you're feeling creative. Don't forget about SOUPS too. You will be permitted to leave and return if you keep your ticket. You will also want to keep your ticket handy for a chance at a door prize (CD's, pizza, movies, etc...)
Directions (from Portsmouth): Starting at OSCO in Portsmouth, take 52W towards the west side. After 1 mile, take 73W/104N (right) towards Hillsboro. Proceed 3.3 miles to the 73W/104N split, go right on 104. After 3 miles, turn left on McDermott Pond Creek Road. Go another 2.5 miles and turn right on Colley Road. Turn left on Pollock Road after half a mile. Half a mile on the right (top of hill) is Shady Pines.
There are alternate routes which will be marked with signs for those of you coming from a different direction. (348W at Lucasville, Left on Henley/Deemer, left on Pollock). Watch for signs
