Third Annual Peach Tree Gathering
By Peach Melba - 5/2/2001
Peach Melba, 2001 winner of the Athens' News "Best local Band Award," is geared up for its third Annual Peach Tree Gathering. This year's festival is to be held Saturday, May 5th at Uncle Buck's Ranch in Zaleski State Forrest. For an extremely reasonable $10 advance ($20 d.o.s.) ticket, this year's Gatherers can expect nothing but good times and great music at this year's one-night event. With music beginning at noon, Guest, Admiral Walker, The John Mullins Band (special acoustic set), The Andre Barton Quartet (featuring Jason Hogue and Eric Arvai) and Eleven Eleven are among the acts schedule to play the festival in addition to the folk-rock and funk licks of Athens' own Peach Melba. That's 6 bans and a night of camping for just ten bucks!
Advance tickets can be purchased at all Peach Melba shows, or by calling (740) 593-5648 or (740) 594-6559. Advance Tickets are also available at thefollowing locations: Power hour at O'Hooley's, School Kid's Records or World's Best Bagels (in Athens, OH), Used Kids, World Records or Magnolia Thunderpussy Recods (in Columbus, OH) or at Criminal Records (in Jackson or Gallipolis, Ohio or Point Pleasant, WV).
