I recently had to write a paper about Chinese culture for my Sociology class. Here is some info I dug up for the paper.
More people are able to speak English in China than in all of the United States. Mainly because they have 1.4 billion people, but it's still a weird fact.
More Chinese people work for American corporations in China than Americans work for American corporations in America.
Lastly, a saying "In China, old women don't gossip, they talk business. Americans only gossip, because all the business was sent to China"

Last fact: What company is the largest employer in America? Wall-Mart. What does Wall-Mart produce, create, or export? Nothing. And we wonder why America is in debt up to our eyeballs. Glad we're fighting a war right now. We can afford it, right? Well, the US economy did grow 4% last year. Not bad. China's economy grew 10%. We don't have enough money to support the war effort. China and other nations are lending us the money to fight it by purchasing our bonds and our currency. Say stuff like this to Republicans and they'll call you a raging liberal and an isolationist. "Isolationist" is the new talking point for conservatives these days. Since when did fiscal conservativism become an isolationist ideal? Seven years ago it was the staple of the Republican party.
