i fear i have too many "homes" on-line. in addition to a livejournal account, a friendster profile, a myspace profile, and TWO websites, i also have this little neglected AMN blog, weeping in the corner and wondering when daddy will come home.
i noticed that in my last entry (january) i spoke of changing my band's name to "captain exploder", which i have done. since then we've recorded a few songs, created a website, and played numerous shows in columbus and chicago, but only once in athens. that casa show back in april was not our best, but then, i never seem to perform very well in athens anymore. i'm pretty sure those mountainfolk placed a curse on my head many years ago. that, or maybe it's the altitude. i tell you man wasn't meant to function at 500 feet above sea level!
anyway, i hope to get back down there soon and try again, or, at the very least, go on a violent drinking binge. we'll see if that happens, as i'm pretty sure my remaining athens friend, matt toledo, hates me and wants me to die after inviting red dahlia to play a show with us in columbus that NOBODY CAME TO! boo-urns!
