| Finding North | Finding North first came together in 1997 as a high school band under the name SoundSprocket. Playing parties and events until 2000, they experimented with many styles and songs, and made CD's in a basement. On hiatus while drummer Brian Hobart attended college in Boston from 2000-2004, they continued to write new songs and develop their sound every chance they got. The waiting is now over. With a new name and a fresh sound they're back to rock Athens, Ohio, and then the world! | Five Deadly Venoms | If Beethoven, King Crimson and The Doors all blended to create a wacky supergroup (and added brass solos), the sounding result might resemble Athens' own Five Deadly Venoms.
Originally from Dayton, Five Deadly Venoms brings together Jamie Rymers, Matt Emmons and the brothers Ben and Sam Ashman to create one of the most unique local bands in Athens with a sound all its own.

| Front Royal | Front Royal started in a dorm room. It was a creative process that has stuck with us since day one (which was around early 2006) that we pride ourselves on. It's about having fun and playing good music you can listen to and enjoy. We've had great shows, bad shows, line up changes, and a set backs. We also get a little serious from time to time and play songs about the stupid things in life, but yet, we remain strictly as a band who wants to play a good show in front of people who want to have a great time. It's something we don't see enough of. We refuse to forget that. Whether in the sense of punk, rebellion, or just playing a musical instruments in your boxers, music should be important and fun. Either way, we love to play and rarely do we ask for compensation, so if want us, book us. [ mail: mikekillroad /\+ gmail.not_part_of_the_address.c o m ] [ 7 Concerts ] [ 1 Photo ] |
