| Hee Hee Hee | Hee Hee Hee lives on through its Album "Spirits Who Peep & Mutter." A strong reaction to the CD, could motivate a reunion tour. This is appalachian punk theater at its finest -- drawing inspiration from coal pits as well as moshpits. Don't forget the country pop tinges around the edges. The band won a Song of the Year contest from TNN, was played on 101.7 (Alt Rock of LA), and 101.9 (before they went ranchero). The album was recorded at the famous Mad Dog Stuidos (now Excellent Audio), home to Lucidna Williams and Dwight Yokum. [ 3 Songs ] |
| homunculus | Homunculus is a four piece "interesting pop/rock" band from Cincinnati, Ohio who have been playing Athens, and touring the country for over 7 years. Their latest full length album, "Words", was released Nationally in 2001 on Howling Records, a brand new Label started by the music industry veterans who brought you the Flaming Lips, Barenaked Ladies, Phish, The Might Be Giants and many more quirky rock bands. Homunculus incorporates rock, jazz, funk, hip-hop and folk into their very unique sound - focusing on 3 part vocal harmonies and a solid foundation. The band is currently in the studio working on their latest album. [ 4 Songs ] [ 17 Concerts ] [ 3 Photos ] |
