| Captain Exploder | We're not terrible. We're not terribly good, either. We are a two-piece rock band from Columbus, Ohio. Our sound is a schizophrenic-but-fluid blend of catchy indie pop (i nearly typed "poop" here) and experimental riff-rock. We have never been able to choose between 3-minute rock songs and 6-minute spacey epics. So we play both. Then we go out for some frosty milkshakes. Mmmmm... milkshakes. You like milkshakes, don't you? [ 1 Photo ] |
| Carolina Chocolate Drops | The Carolina Chocolate Drops are a group of young African-American stringband musicians that have come to together to play the rich tradition of fiddle and banjo music in Carolinas’ piedmont. Rhiannon Giddens and Justin Robinson both hail from the green hills of the North Carolina Piedmont while Dom Flemons is native to sunny Arizona. [ 2 Concerts ] [ 2 Photos ] |
| Carrie Elkin | Laid-back, relationship-based acoustic, focusing on vocals. [ 3 Songs ] |
| Cathy Wicks | Why don't you hire Cathy Wicks for your next event! Hire her SOLO if you want the simple sultry songstress, or trio-countrified with the Catbirds (with Catfish & Junebug variously string'd), or, say, if you need to funk it out and party down with some horns, hire The Misprints
Cat and her bands are fully equipped for any size venue (except football stadiums) and provide a double-wide array of song material. Please contact her by email for rates and dates.

| Chaselounge | Chaselounge is an extremely tight 4-piece band from Cincinnati, Ohio. The band focuses on melody - incorporating styles from 50's doo-wop to Elvis Costello to Weezer - all supported by 2 guitars, a steady rhythm section and well crafted lead vocals, to supply a very original and unique sound. Power and Melody - think Buddy Holly through a Marshall stack. Chaselounge is currently touring the Midwest. [ 5 Songs ] [ 7 Concerts ] [ 1 Photo ] |

| COWBOY CURSE | Denver-based Indie Rock/Pop band Cowboy Curse was started in 2003 by Ohio U Alumni Ben Bergstrand, Josh Bergstrand (fmr. Jet Lucas), and Darin Strachan along CT native Tyler Campo.
Imagery and narrative-based songwriting and three-part harmonies became an early signature of the band. The focus on vocals emphasized melody and lyricism, rather than overly complex instrumentation.
Cowboy Curse has shared the stage with notable such as the High Strung, Grand Champeen, Grain & Demise, The New Amsterdams, and The Joggers, Red Cloud, Hot IQs, Born in the Flood, The Denver Gentlemen, Bright Channel, and Dressy Bessy.
