| S.S.M. | SSM is John Szymanski (Hentchmen, ex-Paybacks), Dave Shettler (ex-The Sights), and Marty Morris (Cyril Lords). SSM toured in the winter of 2005-2006 with the Black Keys. The New York Times said "There are two differences between SSM and countless garage-rock revivals: the sound is scruffier and the songs are smarter. Despite the vintage equipment, this is no 1960's revival; it's a warped reinvention." [ 1 Concert ] [ 1 Photo ] |
| Salvage | So, gushkin and salvage are meant to be, proved to me by divine intervention and gushkin. Rock / Metal / Punk. [ 3 Concerts ] [ 2 Photos ] |
| Selecter Regga Band | Selecter Reggae Band is an All Star Sextet featuring members of Rays Music Exchange, the Zionites, DLO(Da LEMMINGS OnSombol), and Grand Oversoul. Formed in the Spring of 2005, the group, consisting of Tim Hensley(drums), Alonzo Leggette(percussion), Nick Blasky(bass and vocals), Andy Lenihan(keys), John Gentry Jr.(guitar), and Jeremy Lacinak(vocals and guitar), have fused a unique sounding perspective on an original roots music form. Like their predecessors who fused their own Island rhythms with R & B, Ska, and Dub. Selecter has added their own twist by bringing in newer elements such as Jazz and Rock, with extended improvisational sections, making for a truly new and fresh variation. Currently writing and rehearsing original material for an upcoming 2007 cd release. [ call: (513)-638-7746 ] [ mail: SelecterCincyReggae ÅΤ yahoo _Δot ÇOM ] |

| Silo The Huskie | Throughout the duration of their years playing together (the number of which is in and of itself a laudable achievement for any band) they've stuck to their guns, perfecting their unique brand of Midwestern roots rock that fits the brutally honest and sincere lyricism of songwriter Brian Barlup like a glove. | Six Gallery | From Parma, Kent, and Westerville Six Gallery found each other in Athens on the hottest day of August in 2005. Beautiful chaos ensued until the creation of an even numbered band in January 06. The train is building steam in Columbus currently and will likely be tearing up the tracks (pun intended) for a duration of no less than the time equivalence of the cuteness of kittens. | Skeletonwitch | Formerly from Athens, Ohio... Now living in Cleveland, Ohio... Howling destruction from the darkest pits of the Abyss, the Skeletonwitch comes to slaughter your loved ones and crush your skull. Blending sheer burtality with satanic melodies, Skeletonwitch wails with shredding guitar riffs, vocals as evil as Lucifer himself, gore-dripping bone-snapping blast beats, enough spells to fill a DnD Manual, and enough long red hair to strangle your mother. Come to our shows if you want to see the master shredders and have your face melted off by hell-borne witchfire! | Spiveys | We are the Spiveys. We have released a full length record, a single, and had several compilation appearances. We have played & toured the states and Europe with some of our favorite bands:
The Cows, Brainiac, Bob City, Geraldine,
Solex, Fear, The Woggles, Lustre King.
We are undeniably loud and often dirty. We understand irony, but are not sarcastic. We like to drink. We like to rock. We are an institution in desparate need of expansion.

| Squirrel Nut Zippers | Performing songs from the entire catalogue, the band still rejoices at the difficulty people have in pigeonholing their unmistakable sound. A perpetually evolving, hybrid-stew of Southern roots traditions, the Zippers were aptly tagged "'30s punk" by one critic, and have always flirted with a muse most concerned with ghosts, love gone wrong, fever-dreams, and the razor's edge of sexual desire. Centered around the beguiling vocals of Katherine Whalen and the anachronistic windup toy that is Jimbo Mathus, the Zippers promise to both charm and confound. "I always felt like we were making short movies rather than songs," Phillips says. [ 1 Concert ] [ 1 Photo ] |
| The Stepford Five | "Complex arcs of guitar and stutter-stepped, hard-hitting drums define The Stepford 5, yet another export outta Columbus. They also win for quote of the festival, as singer Keith Jenkins proclaimed, "Sooner or later, we're going to prove to the rest of the stupid country that the Midwest is where all the good rock bands are." Their music is a hybrid of shoegazer and harder modern rock, with strong vocals and harmonies. As TS5 play, the sounds become waves of chords and beats, all crashing on the beach at once. Nice stuff." - Laura Hamlett(http://www.playbackstl.com/) [ 6 Songs ] |
| Street Sharks | The Street Sharks are straight-up thrashy hardcore. We like to play fast and we're not exactly a big fan of the 5 minute epic songs. Come thrash it up for us and check out our site! Formerly from Athens, now in Charolette NC! [ 1 Concert ] |
