Hey everybody.... If anyone wants a chance for 10,000 + people a week, to hear YOUR music, please send me your demo or cd. I am currently working with The Front Room to get some more local music playing in the coffee shop during their open hours. Once we get the operations up and running, we'll have a link where students/people/community can see the playlist they are listening to, a link to your website, and where they can buy your album from. What I need from you: A Cd/Demo sent ASAP to: Liz Pahl c/o Max Malloy 347 Baker Center Ohio University Athens OH 45701 Also, somewhere on the demo please mention your website and where folks can buy your fine goods. liz, i'd love to help where i can. acrn has a shelf dedicated to local music, as well as our music library that i'd offer access to to help fill playlists, we dont want any illegal downloading now do we. let me know how i can help. -b |

Hey, As always the Aquabear Legion would love to be a part of this. We have a brand new compilation of 17 songs by 17 projects including a good number by Athens bands (Southeast Engine, We March, Dragline Bros, Casual Future, Men of Gentle Birth, Bram Riddlebarger, Adam Torres, The Arch Villains, so on and so on) we could it run it by our bands and get you some stuff. Brian- yes. Let's get together this week to talk playlists. I'll email you separately. Aquabear- This is great. I was going to contact SEE, Adam Torres, Red Dahlia etc. But if you would like to do that in one fell swoop and send a copy of the project to us, that would be awesome! I will still individually contact bands that I already have personal copies of their cd's to see if they are down with being on a playlist. I look forward to hearing your bands' (Casual Future's) release too! Awesome. |
