Athens Amplified will resume spring quarter at the new Front Room in Baker Center and WOUB is seeking local bands and solo performers for a handful of shows (generally 3 acts per show). Each show will be broadcast live on 1340 AM and streamed live at www.woub.org (there is the possibility that acrn.com will stream these shows as well). In addition, all performances will be recorded and each band will receive a CD. Drop off a CD demo at WOUB (Radio-TV Building, 9 South College St.),email mp3s to music@woub.org or direct us to a site (i.e. myspace) where we can review or download your music. We will consider all styles/genres. Your tunes may also receive airplay on 1340 AM. Inquiries may be sent to music@woub.org or call 740-593-4946.
