Hey there! I'm posting to see if anyone would be interested in helping out with Blackoutfest. Some of things we may need help with include..... +Loading equipment in and out The Union during the fest +hanging posters/passing out handbills/promo cds over the weekend, and into next week (all posters must be hung in code approved spots....) +helping get bands around town (Gary needs drum heads, green m&ms,etc)/ finding/holding extra parking spots (the city only allows a few reserved spots) +running errands (lots of little busybody b.s. keeps coming up, and will continue to do so. Got some extra time on your hands? + share your floor/bed/couch or porch with a touring band (it always seems to work out, but it would be great to know in advance that we had a couple spots good to go, as we have more touring bands this year than in the past We have a few people taking care of these things, but would love some extra help if anyone would like to participate.
