Gemini Fest XIII is on the way and I am very excited to present 3 nights of music in a variety of forms. Night I - June 5 - Jackie O's - Megan Palmer & the Hopefuls - Paranormals My good friend Megan Palmer, who has been living in NYC for the past several months, is back in state and happy to bring herself and a handful of Columbus' finest musicians - Megan Palmer and the Hopefuls. The Paranormals, Catfish and I, will open the evening. Night II - June 6 - Casa Cantina - The Royales - Hiatus Those Funkin' Kings of Rock and Soul - and one of the most fun bands I have had the pleasure to be a part of - bring it back to the Casa for some birthday goodness. Our friends Hiatus will open the evening- they rock! Night III - June 7 - Jackie O's - Special Ed & the Short Bus - Paranormals The final night of celebrations will be at Jackie O's with a newcomer to the scene - Special Ed and the Short Bus. This VA band is a fun and whacked out faux-bluegrass group kinda like Joe Bob Billy; fun and more fun. I'm pleased to have them appear this year. The Paranormals will open the night and try to ratchet up the goofiness a bit. Geminis Unite! |
