and the AMN is going to be the first place to know about it. it's taking place at 35 Brown, aka The Brown Palace...this will be the houses first show but look out for many more shows/chili cookoffs at this new venue. the lineup: Spoonboy (of The Max Levine Ensemble, Plan-It-X Records) is coming from DC to launch his tour, he will also be organizing for anti republician and democratic conventions. Republician Pussy (Rat Brains + Nark Unit) come back from Brooklyn to invade Athens. GODVERSUSSATAN (w/members of Men of Gentle Birth) Casual Future versus Spooktober (playing separately) but plan to settle some longtime beef. anyone whose been around has heard what Spooky Brian has been saying about Scott Spice all over town and when you get that many egos at the same DIY house show something is going to blow. Submarine Spaceship (athens own) will be going real deep that night too. when: Sunday August 3rd, potluck diner at 5, music goes from 6 to 10. if you can please bring a donation for touring bands. |
