Currently, the ensemble consists of a flautist, percussionist, and myself, a fingerstyle acoustic guitarist/lute player. The repertoire would consist of our renditions of Celtic and British Isles folk instrumenals and songs, some Early European Music, and a number of innovative originals, and whatever we feel like playing at the moment. Improvising will be a key feature of our performances.

After that I am willing to include almost anything. Electric guitar, banjo, violin, upright bass, keyboards, flute, horns, really open to anything that can reach the sound I'm looking for. That sound would be something along the lines of The Decemberists, The Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Shins, etc. Preferably OU students, for scheduling reasons mostly. Willingness to collaborate and have input on songwriting is a must. Will be recording during Winter Break and am more than willing to have those interested on the album.

Possible songs: In God's Country (U2), What is Love (Haddaway), Clocks (Coldplay), Fake Plastic Trees (Radiohead), Smells Like Teen Spirit (Nirvana), Wicked Game (Chris Isaak), Two Faces (Bruce Springsteen), Fixin' a Hole (John Lennon), a few other possibilities, (Tom Pettey? Garbage?) and perhaps an original or two. Also, I am open to suggestions. But typically I like songs that make a person move. Oh yeh - I'd love to do Cream by Prince. I sing and play pop/rock electric harp (the kind with strings). I know that people might be skeptical about the fact that I play a harp, but actually I get really good response. I often play Casa open stage. Starting in December, my schedule is wide open until school starts again so I'd really like to use that time to best advantage. I don't have any recordings to give you a flavor of what I'm doing now. (Hence, my need for recordings!) The last thing I recorded was with the band Amethystone ('I Can't Dream', an 80s style pop song.)
