Mothman has been an established regional band for over a decade. They've gone through many incarnations over the years. This new release features yet another side of Mothman's creative leader, Todd Martin.

1157 is a mellow folk-rock/roots-rock album with political and social messages in each track. Many songs describe the joys and pains of living in rural Appalachia.

Bongo's and grunge guitar licks are common. Elements ranging from Neil Young to Perl Jam, to Johnny Cash can be heard in this disk.

Gray Matters is one of the hidden gems. It has been recorded by Todd Martin on other disks and demos in the past.

It is a moody album-rock disk with a concise theme. It's definitely worth checking out.
